# The Slot Machine Whitelists

To create a unique and engaging experience for the community when distributing the whitelist tokens, The River introduced the slot machine whitelist which replicated the excitement of being in an actual casino and waiting for a jackpot.

The whitelist slot machine offered an exciting and interactive way for community members to win Alpha Toad whitelists. By spinning the lever and matching the symbols, players could win a whitelist spot and mint their Alpha Toad right away.

The River's whitelist slot machine offered a fun, novel, and engaging way for the community to participate in the project and win exclusive rewards. The team is committed to building a platform that prioritizes innovation and creativity, all the while continuing to offer an exciting and unique gaming experience for the community.

**How did it work?**

The slot machine is connected to The River's official Twitter account. To enter the draw, users needed to interact with The River's tweets and comment with their $handle or wallet address. Once a user commented, they were automatically registered in the system for a chance to win an Alpha Toad whitelist.

The in-house bot randomly selected 1-5 winners every day from the previous day's tweets and whitelisted them for an Alpha Toad. The River would tweet every day after the winners are added, so users could check if they had won and claim their Alpha Toads.

It's important to note that The River would never DM the winners. Instead, winners would need to spin the slot machine to claim their prize. If they had been chosen, they would have the option to mint an Alpha Toad for 7.77 $ADA.
